JUNE 9, 2014. 1…. 2…. 3… ruuuuuuuuuuuuun! On Saturday, May 17, 2014, Friendship Southeast was a part of the Girls On The Run 5K at Anacostia Park. I interviewed Mrs. Piccoli and Jewel Lake from Friendship Southeast Academy about the run. Jewel Lake was the first person to cross the finish line, but as we all know its not about who wins, it’s about who finished and having fun with friends.
